Northwest Club Championship
Description
Think of it as cross country but for long distance runners! Teams may be of any size and are scored based on the cumulative place of the top 3 runners on a team. Non-scoring team members can still assist the team by further displacing competing runners in the rankings. Missing members of incomplete teams are assumed to be last place. 4th place team member serves as a tiebreaker if needed.
This event will be held concurrently with the general Redmond Harvest Half Marathon event. Individual participants in the race will not affect the team scoring.

Registration
Most clubs in the PNW should already have a team in our system. Your club leadership will have the code to join the team as well as receive a discount on your registration fees. However, if your club is missing, please email us and we will create a team for you. The Northwest Club Half Marathon Championship is open to RRCA clubs, USATF clubs, or unaffiliated clubs that are open to the general public and meet regularly.
FAQ
Q: Do I need an individual RRCA or USATF membership to participate?
A: No. You only need to be a member of PNTF if you want to be eligible for individual cash prizes. Team prizes and team membership carry no such restriction.
Q: Can I harm my team's score by joining it?
A: No. The score is based on the top 3 runners on your team and there is no limit on team size, so it is impossible to make your team score lower. If you finish outside the top 3 on your team, you can still displace runners on other teams and thereby increase your team's position.
Q: Is this only for fast runners?
A: No. Runners of all speeds are welcome to participate. This is as much a celebration of all the facets of the wonderful Pacific Northwest Running community as it is a competition.
